TrueFluency
TrueFluency is a concept brand and website built to explore what happens when you treat proofreading like a premium product. The idea? Take something as detail‑oriented as editing and wrap it in a brand that feels sharp, helpful, and friction‑free.
This was a personal design exercise, focused, clean, and all about testing how tone, layout, and UX can work together to deliver a feeling of clarity and trust from the first scroll. The whole thing is built to look and feel as polished as the service it represents.
Project Scope
A tight, self‑contained concept with a full UX and brand identity build:
- Brand voice & messaging
- Visual identity & logo refresh
- Custom typography, layout, and colour system
- Responsive site design
- Tiered pricing section
- Lead form & conversion flow
Creative Direction
The look leans professional, but not stiff; cool blues, clean type, and just enough iconography to guide the eye. Everything’s meant to feel calm, capable, and confident.
User Experience (UX) Rationale
The UX mirrors the product promise: clarity first.
- Hero with a purpose: Says exactly what the brand does and who it helps, up top, no scrolling required.
- Simple, logical flow: Users move from “what is this?” to “why should I care?” to “how much does it cost?” to “how do I get started?”
- Pricing that makes sense: Three clear tiers with turnaround, word‑count, and revision info laid out plainly.
- Always‑actionable: “Request a Quote” buttons appear right when you need them.
- Smooth on mobile: Designed to feel just as good on a phone as on a desktop.
Visual & Verbal Identity
Everything is built to support the brand’s big idea: clear communication.
- Colour: Blues and neutrals = trust and calm.
- Type: Clean sans‑serifs = readable and modern.
- Icons: Small, smart, and purposeful—not just decorative.
- Voice: Friendly, direct, and focused—like a good editor.
Outcome
TrueFluency is a small but complete concept project that proves the power of simplicity. The brand is confident, the site is clear, and the whole experience leads users naturally toward conversion, with no clutter, no confusion.
It’s an editing service that looks and feels as thoughtful as the work it promises.
